Santos Recipe for May: Strawberry and Redcurrant Smoothie

One of the best ways to enjoy cooking is preparing simple yet original dishes that, despite being easy to make, never fail to delight because of their appearance and amazing flavour. Our recipe idea for May is Strawberry and Redcurrant Smoothie.


– 1 kg strawberries.

– A bunch of mint leaves.

– 2 tablespoons sugar.

– 250 g redcurrants.

– 250 ml water or a glass of ice.


Wash the strawberries, remove the leaves and slice each strawberry in half.

Remove the redcurrants from their stems.

Put the strawberries, redcurrants, sugar and mint leaves (to taste) in the blender.

Depending on how powerful the blender is, add water or ice.

Blend until you obtain a smooth mixture.
