Natalia Michelena has been fascinated by photography ever since she was very small. In fact, she remembers how as a child, she was entranced at how the light illuminated everything. As an adult, after getting her first camera, she understood that was her calling.

After working as a photographer doing different types of photography, she started doing interior design and architecture photography in 2017, mainly in the Basque Country, La Rioja, Navarre and Asturias. Since then, she has exclusively worked in this speciality, doing photoshoots for architects, interior designers, decorators, renovation and lighting companies, hotels, holiday homes, etc.

Natalia confirms that her main goal is to document and improve the dissemination of the work of these professionals in a clear, attractive manner with the best digital quality. This is the reason why she pays particular attention to the staging, which she believes is key to create just the right look.

Now, with 10 years of experience under her belt, she keeps the fascination for photography she had as a child alive and says, “The most important thing about photography is how the light fills the spaces”.
