Claudia Muñoz Arquitectura is a studio with headquarters in Marbella, which carries out most of its projects in the Costa del Sol. It has a firm commitment to Andalusian architecture, which it admires for its simplicity, the emphasis on natural light and its ability to connect with what’s essential.
The studio plans its designs with people at the forefront, striking just the right balance between functionality and aesthetics to create warm, cosy and harmonious homes, where every last detail reflects the essence of the people who live in them.
Its work is based on a deep respect for the buildings and the environments where they’re found, with the unshakeable belief that contemporary and traditional can coexist, complement each other and enable tradition to evolve without sacrificing authenticity. Thus, when embarking on a renovation project, its aim is to ensure that the new is in harmony with the old, making every effort to blend them together as seamlessly as possible, as if it had always been there. In the case of new buildings, it believes it’s a must to create architecture that’s suited to the environment, can integrate into the landscape and reinforces local identity.
