Santos continue to expand their international distribution network with the opening of Santos Bogotá, a new and exclusive showroom of the brand in Colombia, which round off their furniture offerings with products from other leading brands.
The founders and managers of Santos Bogotá, Diana Medina and Gustavo Torres, have 15 years of experience in the commercial architecture sector. They are joined by María Paula Izquierdo, who is in charge of sales management, and designers Yaiza García R., Christian David Peláez O. and Andrés David Álvarez R. Together, they comprise a team with the necessary skills and experience, and are committed to meeting the specific needs of each project with customised advice and bespoke designs.
The studio boasts a spectacular showroom with a floor area of over 205 square metres. There’s an extensive display of the latest products launched by Santos, with both kitchen furniture and the new Living line, which was designed to kit out the living-dining room and to create more interconnected, harmonious and functional spaces.
The display includes two kitchens with island: one of them in a Silk Mink Grey finish, with a counter for breakfasts and a run of tall units with a glass door unit in the middle, and another in a Grey Marble finish, with exclusive plinth drawers that increase the storage space of base units down to the floor. In the latter, the island is complemented by a composition of tall units with a cabinet featuring retractable doors, which can be hidden away along the sides to facilitate access and visibility to the interior. Next to this kitchen is a dining area, which has been kitted out with a sculptural glass door unit by Santos.
The showroom also has two other kitchens, which are laid out in an L: one of them has fronts in an Innsbruck White finish and panels in a Light Elm wood finish, while the other is in a Sand Grey Silk Matt finish. The second kitchen comes with a sideboard whose design was inspired by traditional china cabinets, which comes with glass doors at the top and drawers at the bottom.
Aside from the glass door unit and sideboard in the kitchens, visitors can get a first-hand look at other items from the Santos Living line: modular shelving, which combines tall units and panels with shelves, an elegant, wall-mounted composition of tall units, and sideboard shelving, with shelves at the top and wall-mounted drawer units at the bottom.
