The Santiago Interiores showroom refreshes its displays
Since it opened in 1996, the studio has been offering comprehensive, bespoke services for interior design projects for both new builds and refurbishments. To this end, it has a team of qualified professionals that provide support to clients throughout the entire process –from the initial design to the installation stage – ensuring that the final result is delivered on time and as expected. Now, its renovated showroom measuring 375 square metres will give visitors a chance to get a firsthand look at what’s new and what’s hot from the Santos brochure.
The display opens with a kitchen with island laid out in parallel, where Vertical Rustic Oak wood is combined with Silk Beige. The island comes with the exclusive plinth drawers by Santos, which – by expanding the capacity of the units down to the floor – make the most of all the height and depth available under the worktop.
Meanwhile, the composition of tall units integrates a retractable unit whose fronts can be temporarily hidden away along its sides, making it easy to access the entire space. The inside of it – customised in a Vertical Rustic Oak wood finish – features shelves and an auxiliary work area with worktop, lighting profile and plug sockets.
The kitchen is connected to a pantry through an inward-opening door in Silk Anthracite Grey Matt. The furnishings of this space feature a modular panel system with shelves, such as glass door units in a CUADRO NATURA design finished in Vertical Rustic Oak wood and Thin Ribbed glass fronts.
The second kitchen at the showroom is a KARMEL design with island and worktop-mounted bar finished in Smoked Oak Horizontal, and tall units in Dark Brown Silk Matt. The composition of tall units includes a pocket door system in the middle which conceals the washing-up area when it’s not in use.
Adjacent to this kitchen, there’s a glass door unit with a carcass finished in Vertical Smoked Laricio wood, featuring a Black Aluminium frame and Smoked Glass fronts. Inside, it has a shelf lighting system and special rack for bottles and glasses.
The display has another kitchen laid out in an L, which features a Vertical American Walnut CUADRO NATURA model island, as well as tall units and glass door units in the Silk Pearl White Matt CUADRO design. The glass door units come with two lighting systems exclusive to Santos: An interior shelf lighting system – which throws indirect lighting onto the back of the cabinet – and an exterior profile that runs under the units. This profile, aside from providing indirect lighting above the worktop, includes a slit to fit practical kitchen accessories.
The last room is a living zone fitted out with a modular wall-mounted bookcase finished in American Walnut wood, as well as a composition of drawer units in India Red Silk Matt, mounted above a structure with a round leg finished in Black.
