Santos continue to expand their international distribution network with the opening of Santos Santiago de Chile, a new and exclusive showroom of the brand in Chile.
Comprehensive and bespoke kitchen and interior design projects
Santos Santiago de Chile is a studio that specialises in carrying out comprehensive kitchen and interior design projects. Its working method starts with a careful analysis of the space, as well as the users’ preferences and lifestyle, in order to create unique and personalised designs to meet specific needs. To this end, it boasts a large team headed by managers Alejandra Pinto, Ignacio Rivas – both with over 20 years’ experience in the sector – and Rodrigo Pimentel – whose professional career spans 12 years. They are also in charge of the design and sales departments.
Two floors showcasing the latest Santos furniture
The Santos Santiago de Chile showroom, with a floor area of 180 square metres between two floors, presents the latest kitchen furniture and accessories launched by Santos. The display also includes a wide selection of the many furnishing options from the brand’s Living line, a modular system designed to kit out the daytime living area and create more harmonious and cohesive spaces.
The display on the ground floor features two kitchens. One of them is an Innsbruck White ELEA model laid out in an L shape, with a run of tall units and another one with base and wall units. The second kitchen is a Silk Mink Grey FINE design, comprised of an island with a Santos worktop-mounted bar finished in Rustic Oak, plus a composition of tall units, base units and a worktop-mounted glass door unit. Perpendicular to the island is a glass door unit with carcass and interior finished in Grey Marble, black aluminium frame and smoked glass fronts, which is very practical for storing crockery or displaying decorative items. What’s more, thanks to the rear LED lighting system for shelves, it serves as a source of indirect ambient lighting.
The ground floor also has two living zones kitted out with furniture from the Santos Living line. The first zone features a sideboard in a Mink Grey MARCO design, made up of glass door units with shelves at the top and a drawer unit at the bottom, plus a sideboard with shelves finished in Earth Walnut wood, which has shelves at the top and wall-mounted drawer units at the bottom.
The second living zone is a lounge with a modular unit finished in Silk Anthracite Grey LAH, which provides multiple organisation and display options. At the top, the unit comes with panels with shelves, and in the middle, two wall units with inner shelves. At the bottom, the plinth drawers with cover plates offer plenty of storage space, and its fronts – tilted inwards – keep users from tripping when moving near the piece of furniture.
Meanwhile, the upper floor of the showroom holds a kitchen in a FINE design laid out in parallel, with a row of tall units finished in Silk Black LAH and an island finished in Grey Marble with an adjoining worktop-mounted bar. The island features the exclusive plinth drawers by Santos, which increase the storage space of base units down to the floor. In the area of tall units, the retractable unit whose fronts can be temporarily hidden away along its sides stands out, as it makes it easy to access and see the entire space. Its interior includes shelves with rear LED lighting and an auxiliary work area with a worktop, lighting profile and sockets.
This space is rounded off by a living zone kitted out with modular shelving from the Santos Living line. The shelving unit combines tall storage units with fronts finished in Anthracite Grey – intended to hold items that are best kept out of sight – and wall panels with shelves finished in Ceppo di Gré – perfect for displaying books and decorative items.
