The Docrys & DC Aravaca Santos kitchen showroom updates its premises

Docrys & DC Aravaca, an exclusive Santos kitchen showroom in Madrid, has renovated its premises to include the latest products launched by the furniture brand.
After the recent inauguration of its new kitchen showroom in Conde Orgaz, the Docrys & DC studio also updated its showroom in Aravaca, in order to showcase the new products designed by Santos for its kitchen and Living furniture to its visitors. This showroom, which opened its doors in 2011, boasts a team of 11 qualified designers for the comprehensive development of bespoke interior design and kitchen projects.
The 201 square metres of the new Docrys & DC Aravaca showroom feature a reception area, offices and meeting room, plus three Santos kitchens with island, a fourth single-wall kitchen, and a laundry kitted out with furniture by the brand.
The first kitchen with island combines the finishes Silk Mink Grey LAH – used for the island – and Smoked Oak wood – found in the composition of tall units, where the continuity of the grain gives it a natural, harmonious look. The island features the exclusive plinth drawers by Santos, which – by expanding the capacity of the units down to the floor – make the most of all the height and depth available under the worktop. What’s more, its fronts that tilt inwards help to prevent tripping when working near the work surface. In the area of tall units, the centre cabinet with retractable doors – which can be temporarily hidden away along its sides to provide easy access – stands out.
This kitchen is complemented by a sideboard featuring a MARCO design finished in Stone Grey Silk Matt, inspired by traditional china cabinets, and modular shelving with an adjoining counter finished in Ceppo Di Gré laminate. The modular shelving, which belongs to the Santos Living line, combines tall units with inner shelves and panels with shelves, offering the possibility to store items out of sight or in plain sight.
The second Santos kitchen with island is comprised of a row that includes base and mid-height units finished in Cashmere, plus tall units finished in Earth Walnut wood.
The showroom’s third Santos kitchen has an island and base units finished in Pearl White, tall units finished in Sand Grey, and tall units finished in Synchro Rustic Oak wood. The latter accurately imitates the appearance and texture of natural wood – perceptible by sight and touch – down to the last detail.
Facing this kitchen is a spacious dining room kitted out with a Santos glass door unit with black aluminium frame, smoked glass fronts and customised interiors finished in Earth Walnut. The glass door unit, designed to serve both the kitchen and dining area, is extremely practical for keeping crockery or displaying decorative items.
The fourth kitchen, located across a single wall, has been kitted out with a Silk Black LAH FINE design by Santos, with fronts in a super matt finish and smooth to the touch. The row of base units with a vibratory-finish stainless-steel worktop is complemented by a worktop-mounted bar finished in Synchro Rustic Oak wood.
The showroom also features a fully equipped laundry, furnished with an Innsbruck White FINE by Santos located across a single wall. The room has a sink unit, space to integrate a washer and dryer, and tall units to store cleaning and ironing implements.
