The Santos kitchen showroom Santos Docrys & DC unveils a two-storey showroom with a new furniture display

Docrys & DC Conde Orgaz, an exclusive Santos kitchen showroom in Madrid, unveiled its new two-storey showroom with an entirely new furniture display.
Docrys & DC is a studio with a history spanning more than 30 years. It specialises in the comprehensive design and development of bespoke kitchen and interior design projects. Aside from the showroom in Conde Orgaz, it has three other showrooms in Madrid, located in the Chamberí, Aravaca and Salamanca neighbourhoods.
Ground floor
The ground floor of the showroom features a kitchen and eat-in area kitted out with Santos furniture, aside from modular shelving by the same brand. The kitchen – dominated by an island with adjoining table – blends the Rustic Oak wood and Silk Black finishes, and is rounded off by a large composition of tall, base and wall units. The island comes with the exclusive plinth drawers by Santos, which – by expanding the capacity of the units down to the floor – make the most of all the height and depth available under the worktop.
The eat-in area has been kitted out with a kitchen in a Silk Mink Grey FINE design by Santos, laid out in an L and featuring wall panels and shelves in an Earth Walnut wood finish. The two exclusive lighting systems by Santos can be seen in this room. The first is an LED shelf lighting profile, which projects indirect decorative lighting. The second, installed underneath the wall units, is an LED lighting profile with plug sockets and a slit for accessories, which provides indirect lighting onto the worktop.
The modular shelving, which belongs to the Santos Living line, combines tall units with inner shelves and panels with shelves. This offers users the option to store items out of sight or in plain sight. Although a combination of the White Marble and Mink Grey finishes was chosen in this case, both the shelf interiors and exteriors are completely customisable.
Upper floor
Right at the centre of the upper floor of the showroom, there’s a Santos kitchen with island in the Cashmere and Natural Oak wood finishes. The island’s worktop overhangs to serve as a counter. In front of it is a laundry area kitted out with an Innsbruck White FINE design, which comes with a sink and tall washer and dryer unit.
The upper floor features another Santos kitchen with island and a run of tall units, which combine the Sand Grey and Smoked Oak wood finishes. The kitchen comes with a practical dining area, comprised of a worktop-mounted bar in a Smoked Oak wood finish.
The kitchen is complemented by two tall units with retractable doors, placed perpendicular to the island. These units’ fronts can be temporarily hidden away along their sides, making it easy to see what’s inside and providing easy access. Their interiors, customised in a Smoked Oak wood finish, include shelves with rear LED lighting, interior drawers, a laundry area and an auxiliary work area with worktop and lighting profile.
Two modular furnishing systems belonging to the Santos Living line have also been installed around this kitchen. One of them, located in front of the island, is a row of drawer units with inclined front in a Silk Black finish. The other one, found right beside a row of tall kitchen units, is a wall-mounted modular composition in an India Red Silk Matt finish, made up of four base storage units and wall shelves with lighting system.
