For this article, the photographer Felipe Scheffel chose some of the sessions he has done in kitchens kitted out with Santos furniture, including his own. This is a selection that – aside from emphasising his rapport with the designer Natalia Zubizarreta – shows his talent in capturing the beauty of small, organised spaces, where every centimetre counts.
Felipe Scheffel: light and a natural look
Felipe Scheffel Bell is a photographer with more than 30 years of experience under his belt. A graduate of the Madrid Higher Technical School of Architecture, he began his professional career in the world of fashion until he moved on to the field of architecture and interior design. In 1992, he collaborated with El Mueble magazine for the first time, and since then, he has regularly worked with prestigious publications such as Arquitectura y Diseño, Elle Deco, Marie Claire, Vogue and ¡Hola! Fashion. His style, based on geometry, dreams, emotion and – above all – a wonderful use of light, adapts to both the peculiarities of each piece and the client’s specific needs, always striving for the most natural results possible.

Felipe Scheffel Bell’s home
This kitchen, a White ALPINA design by Santos, was fitted in Felipe Scheffel’s home in February 2006. Since then, according to its owner, it has exceeded his expectations by leaps and bounds. In fact, as the photographs show, it looks just like it did when it was first installed.
