Turn your kitchen into a special haven— somewhere you can enjoy and spend more time with your loved ones, preparing some of the delicious recipes we suggest. This week give this recipe with green tomatoes, grapes and corn a try.

A salad for spring that’s a bit different

Ingredients:

– 4 green tomatoes

– 1 bunch of white grapes (preferably seedless)

– 1 bunch of black grapes (preferably seedless)

– 400g mozzarella

– Basil

– Fritos corn snacks

– Extra virgin olive oil

– Salt

Method:

Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters.

Wash the grapes, remove the seeds (if any) and cut them in half lengthwise.

Place the tomatoes on a plate and place the grapes (both colours) on top.

Add the mozzarella cut in small pieces.

Season with the salt.

Add the corn snacks (broken into small pieces).

Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil.

Decorate with basil, or any other fresh herb of your liking.

Note: If you do not have green tomatoes you can use normal tomatoes. The mozzarella can be replaced with Provolone cheese or fresh (non-cured) cheese.

If you do not have corn snacks, you can add nuts that have been previously roasted in a pan without oil and chopped later.
