Santos Estudio Donosti, the new and exclusive Santos kitchen showroom in San Sebastián

Last May, Santos Estudio Donosti, the new and exclusive Santos kitchen showroom in San Sebastián (Gipuzkoa), opened its doors.
The owners of the studio, Hugo and Francis Gainzarain, are joined by interior designers Josemari Busto and Onditz Odriozola, creating a team with plenty of experience in comprehensive and custom kitchen design. With a floor area of 130 square metres, the showroom of Santos Estudio Donosti offers visitors a choice selection to kit out kitchens and daytime living areas.
In the first section of the display, there’s a bright kitchen with island and area of tall units, with fronts in a Cashmere finish and interiors and worktop-mounted bar in an Earth Walnut wood finish. In this composition, the tall unit with retractable doors – which can be temporarily hidden away along its sides to make it easy to see what’s inside and provide easy access – stands out.
Right beside it, there’s an Innsbruck White FINE kitchen design laid out in an L, and in front of it, there’s a Silk Anthracite Grey LAH in-line kitchen with wall units in Synchro Rustic Oak wood laminate. This finish is an exact replica of natural wood, with the look and feel of real wood.
The middle of the showroom features a modular panel system from the Santos Living line, with a wall panel in a Kairos Oak wood finish and 1.3 cm thick shelves in a Silk Black LAH finish. In this area, there’s also furnishings for a laundry area, with a sink unit, a unit with laundry bag, interior shelves and a tall washer and dryer unit. A Mist Grey finish was chosen for the fronts, while the interiors were customised in a Kairos Oak wood finish.
The next area in the showroom holds two kitchens. The first kitchen has an island in a Natural Oak wood finish, which is set off by a long run of White Silk Matt MARCO tall units – a timeless classic. This composition comes with a rolling shutter unit with plugs and its own lighting, designed to use small appliances without having to move them around.
In the second kitchen, the fronts in a Silk Pearl White LAH finish contrast beautifully with a worktop-mounted bar and wall panel with shelves in an Olive Ash wood finish. A discreet profile handle makes it possible to open the double drawers of the units in the lower area of the kitchen.
Lastly, at the back of the showroom, there are workspaces and meeting spaces, with a study and a meeting room fitted out with the Sand Grey FINE and Earth Walnut FINE designs by Santos, respectively.
