Homes designed by Jané & Font fitted out with Santos kitchens

The Jané & Font studio was founded more than 20 years ago by architects Anna Jané and Ignasi Font. Both of them took up their studies at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of El Vallés (ETSAV) but they took different paths. Anna started her professional career as a founding partner of the Al3 architectural studio in Barcelona, while juggling this job with that of Product Manager at Concepta Barcelona – a brand that specialises in designer chairs and furniture. Ignasi also embarked on his career in Barcelona, but at his family’s architectural and engineering studio, mainly focusing on industrial and corporate buildings. In 2010, after taking up residence in Begur, they decided to open their very own studio.

Jané & Font’s works are defined by creating minimalist spaces that are practical, functional, warm and comfortable at the same time. The secret lies in the scrupulous analysis of every last detail, paying particular attention to the proportion of volumes and indoor spaces, to provide the most suitable solution that’s just right. Its philosophy is based on carrying out honest projects with a unique perspective of architecture, adapting and tailoring them to the setting, the clients and the construction system, so that everything just flows naturally and logically.
