Santos expands its international distribution network with the opening of eba Rennes, the brand’s new and exclusive kitchen showroom in France.
eba Rennes is a studio that specialises in carrying out comprehensive kitchen and daytime living area projects. Under the direction of Jean-Marie Chevallier, a professional with more than 20 years of experience in the sector, its team focuses on creating unique and customised projects, monitoring all stages of the process to ensure a satisfactory outcome for its clients.
The studio’s showroom, with a floor area of more than 100 square metres spread over two floors, provides visitors with a wide selection of the new products launched by Santos in its kitchen furniture and Living lines.
Ground floor
The ground floor has two large spaces. The first features a parallel kitchen, with a composition of base units, a built-in dishwasher, a glass door unit, tall units and top box units finished in Dark Brown Silk Matt, plus an island finished in American Walnut wood with a natural stone worktop.
The base units come with the exclusive plinth drawer units by Santos, which – by expanding the capacity of the base units down to the floor – provides up to four easy-to-access tiers of storage.
The glass door unit has a shelf lighting system, which projects indirect decorative lighting onto the back of the cabinet, as well as a lighting profile with plug sockets, switches and slit to be fitted out with practical kitchen accessories.
The second space on the ground floor holds a kitchen finished in Rustic Oak wood and Silk Pearl White, rounded off with a diner and lounge.
The central part of the kitchen – flanked by tall units – comes with base units with plinth drawer units, a built-in dishwasher, a wall panel with overhead lighting, and a lighting bar with slit for accessories. This entire area can be concealed behind a pocket door system.
The lounge and diner have been fitted out with modular furniture from the Santos Living line.
The former has an ELEA model divider bookcase finished in Rustic Oak wood, plus a living room cabinet with wall panel in the same finish, drawer units in Silk Jade Green, and a wall-mounted composition that combines four glass door units and an open tall unit.
Meanwhile, the diner comes with a sideboard finished in Rustic Oak wood, comprised of four base units with side opening door and a black lacquered metal structure with a round leg.
First floor
On the first floor, there’s a large lounge, fitted out with modular shelving with wall panel and shelves finished in Anthracite Grey Silk Matt, and a glass door unit with black aluminium frame, smoked glass fronts and shelves, and customised interiors in Smoked Oak wood. This cabinet comes with a lighting system along the sides which helps to enhance their finish as well as the items displayed in them.
