eba Polanco, the new and exclusive Santos kitchen showroom in Mexico

Santos expands its international distribution network with the opening of eba Polanco, a new and exclusive showroom of the brand in Mexico City.
eba Polanco is a studio that specialises in carrying out comprehensive kitchen, living and bathroom projects. Its team – comprised of designers, architects, consultants and technicians with extensive industry experience – works together to create fully bespoke projects, featuring high-quality finishes and a carefully curated look. These professionals are also there to support clients through every stage of the process, from the initial design to the final installation, helping them make the most appropriate decisions to achieve a completely satisfactory result.
The studio’s showroom, with a floor area of 139 square metres, provides visitors with a wide selection of the new products launched by the Santos brand in its kitchen furniture and Living lines.
One of the exhibition spaces features a Silk Black kitchen laid out in parallel. Its furniture includes a large island with worktop-mounted bar in natural veneered wood, as well as a long run of floor-to-ceiling tall units, base units and panels with shelves. The island features the exclusive plinth drawer unit by Santos which – by expanding the capacity of the base units down to the floor – provides up to four easy-to-access levels of storage.
The black kitchen with island shares an open space with the living zone, fitted out with a composition of base units finished in Silk Black, a tall glass door unit with interior lighting and modular shelving that – combining tall units and panels with shelves – makes it possible to store items out of sight or in plain sight.
The middle of the showroom holds a second kitchen with island that, in this case, combines the Silk Mink Grey Matt and natural Smoked Oak wood finishes. The area of tall units includes a pocket door cabinet, with fronts that can be temporarily hidden away along its sides to provide easy access to the entire space. Its interiors – customised in the same wood finish as the fronts – include shelves with rear LED lighting, drawers and an auxiliary work area with worktop, lighting profile and plug sockets.
Perpendicular to the island, there’s a glass door unit with black aluminium frame, smoked glass fronts, shelf lighting, wine racks and glass holders. This cabinet – aside from being very useful for storing and displaying fragile items – adds a lovely, decorative touch to the room.
In front of the second kitchen, there’s a dining area, featuring a large sideboard with drawer units at the bottom and glass door units on top. The interior lighting system for shelves turns this cabinet into a source of indirect ambient lighting.
The space intended for the visitor reception area has also been fitted out with furniture by the Santos brand: a run of floor-to-ceiling tall units in Pearl White designed for orderly storage, and an island with worktop-mounted bar finished in Rustic Oak wood with a curved metal leg, which serves as a work area.
