The magazine IM Cocinas y Baños has highlighted Santos kitchen brand’s capacity for innovation, always oriented to the design of cabinets that are functional, comfortable, and beautiful and help create unique spaces to enjoy in company. Cocinas con estilo considers Santos’ white kitchens to be a perfect option to help create this type of space, especially when combined with wood in order to add a warm and welcoming touch: the blog illustrates this with various examples of kitchens that other specialist magazines have also featured.
The first example proposed by Cocinas con estilo is a kitchen fitted with the LINE design in silk matt white from Santos; this kitchen was also analysed by Decoesfera, Mi Casa and Vivir Hogar. A pinewood bench that has been aged and stained rests on the central island and, thanks to the warmth of the wood finish, stands out in a colour range dominated by light colours, adding the balance necessary to create a more welcoming atmosphere.
As a second example, Cocinas con estilo present a kitchen fitted with the MINOS Line-E design in seff white from Santos, in which an independent table made in solid wood is found next to the peninsula, standing out from the rest of the white furniture.
The magazine Nuevo Estilo has included this project in its selection of 10 trendsetting kitchens. The kitchen of “Casa Incubo”, a design from the María José Trejos from Costa Rica, is also featured in this selection of kitchens. In this case the model LINE-E gloss white from Santos, with its simple lines without handles integrates perfectly with the minimalist aesthetics of the house and the central island becomes a highlight thanks to the breakfast bar made from cedar wood.
The third and last example chosen by Cocinas con estilo is a small kitchen with an irregular floorplan, fitted with the LINE-L design in polar white from Santos. In this project, that was studied in detail in the blog Decoesfera, the central peninsula serves as a resting point for a laminated elm wood bar that is especially useful for breakfast or quick meals and, with its contrast, adds balance and a warm touch to the ensemble.
El Mueble also consider that the combination of white and wood form a perfect tandem in the kitchen as they add light and amplitude without losing warmth. Among the examples used by this magazine are two designs from Santos: the model ARIANE 2 in natural oak and white laminate and the model LINE-E with fronts in and ivory ash finish. This last kitchen was also included by Elle in their selection of kitchens with a retro look that combine the charm of times gone by with materials that are modern and high tech.
Along these lines Decoesfera covers a renovation project in which the appeal of the wood contrasts with the white and minimalist MINOS-E design in seff white from Santos. An island kitchen with a modern design that adapts perfectly to the interior design of the house. The white fronts of the cabinets maximise the natural light that comes into the kitchen and the wood of the beams, floor, tables and doors helps create a serene, warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Diseño Interior publishes a spectacular renovation of a house in which a glass cube, annexed to a historic building, houses the kitchen, living and dining areas joining them in one atmosphere with impressive glass walls. This solution permits making the most of a space in which light floods every corner converting the kitchen into a wonderful meeting place. The cabinets, in a U layout with an area for tall units, are the MINOS design in white from Santos combined with the LINE-W model with a teak finish from the same brand.
Tecnohaus analyses the redesign of a house in which the straight lines, the simplicity and white of the Santos kitchen design are present in the rest of the home furniture, creating a large, luminous, homogeneous and organised ambiance. The oak wood flooring helps join the living room, dining room and kitchen whilst also adding a warm touch to the atmosphere.
