Santos Kitchen Cabinets: Designs That Help to Create More Habitable Spaces
10 / 10 / 2018 —
The renovation projects listed below—which have been featured in publications specialising in décor and interior design—show how the kitchen cabinets designed by Santos help to create more attractive, comfortable and practical spaces for both work and play.
Cocinas y Baños
Kitchen project: Clysa
This renovation started with a core idea: open up the kitchen to the living-dining room, turning it into the heart of the home. The works have made the rooms appear larger, creating intermediate areas that give the ground floor greater depth. The Silk Mink Grey LINE-E 13 units by Santos, featuring a minimalist design with plain fronts and handles, seamlessly blend into the interior design. The microcement cladding, found on the wall of the kitchen, likewise covers the dining area, visually tying the two rooms together.
Casa Viva
Kitchen project: Santiago Interiores
In this project, the kitchen was designed to be completely open, linked to the dining room, the living room and the house’s exterior. The preparation and cooking areas are found on the peninsula, which provides a large work surface and multiple storage solutions. The table attached to it serves as a casual dining area where the whole family can come together and have a meal, without having to go to the dining room.
Mi Casa +Práctica
Kitchen project: Clysa
The kitchen is the hub around which the rest of the rooms in this house are laid out. Removing the partition wall that separated the living-dining room has made it possible to create a single space that is roomier and brighter. This was further reinforced with the units of the LINE-E design by Santos with a White Seff finish, seamlessly blending into the interior design where the colour white predominates. A granite worktop with a black finish was chosen to provide contrast. The table attached to the island acts as a divider between the kitchen and the living-dining room.
Kitchen project: Clysa
After an extensive renovation, this kitchen has gone from being a cramped room to a bright, comfortable room linked to an outdoor terrace. The cabinets of the Silk Black LAH LINE design by Santos, characterised by their reduced-thickness fronts and sides, make it possible to minimise their impact on the house’s architecture, without sacrificing capacity and durability. In the middle of the room, there’s an island with a cooktop which, flanked by two stools, can also serve as a counter for breakfast and quick meals.
