The owners of this house wanted a kitchen in keeping with the spirit of their new home: open, discreet, elegant and functional, without overlooking storage capacity. It is fitted with cabinets of the LINE-E and MINOS-E designs by Santos which, with their plain, light-coloured fronts, help to create a pleasant, serene atmosphere. The preparation, cooking and washing-up areas are all found in a large central island with an overhanging worktop. Parallel to it is a set of five tall units holding different electrical appliances and storage solutions in a compact organised area.

The kitchen is found at the centre of this holiday home, sharing an open space with common areas such as the dining room, living room and the TV room. The LINE cabinets by Santos, with their modern and minimalist design, provide capacity, organisation and functionality while remaining true to the discreet and elegant look of the rest of the house. The cabinets’ white silk matt finish perfectly blends with the walls, ceilings and worktop, comprising a bright, balanced and harmonious whole.

The renovation of this home made it possible to add space to the kitchen, which went from being a cramped room to a bright, comfortable space connected to an outdoor chill-out area. The cabinets of the Silk Black LAH LINE design by Santos, with their reduced-thickness fronts and sides, give off an air of sleekness, lightness and elegance. In this way, the impact of the units on the overall architecture of the home is kept to a minimum without sacrificing durability and storage capacity.

This kitchen—visually connected to the house’s public areas—is fitted with cabinets featuring clean, pure lines. The plain handle-less fronts of the LINE-L design by Santos lend beauty and subtlety, making it easy to seamlessly blend into the home’s architecture. The units are laid out around a central island, which provides numerous options for work and storage. The renovation of this home did away with the partition wall separating the kitchen from the living room, creating a unique area that is brighter, airier and more spacious. This was further reinforced with the units of the White Seff LINE-E design by Santos, harmonising with the interior design in which the colour white predominates. The touches of wood, together with the rustic feel lent by the Catalan vaulting ceiling, help to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
