The kitchen cabinets designed by Santos, with their modern and minimalist lines, integrate perfectly with the decoration of this house, creating and open space in which both the kitchen and the living-dining room live in perfect harmony. The integrated solutions offer capacity and organisation, allowing the users to have a fully equipped and functional room without it over-decorated.
The renovation replaced the dividing walls between the kitchen and living room with a glass closure, an element that makes each space private whilst maintaining the visual connection between spaces and helping the light travel throughout. The dominance of white in the furniture, walls and ceiling is counterbalanced with natural materials such as wood and stone and the anthracite grey of the tall units and some walls, creating and elegant, warm and welcoming ensemble.
The kitchen furniture includes a two-sided peninsula that serves as a breakfast bar, a line of base cabinets where we find the preparation, cooking and washing-up areas, and an arrangement of tall units that house various appliances and storage space. In the living-dining room, blending with the aesthetics of this room, there is also a coplanar unit designed by Santos, fitted with shelves and a work area for small electrical appliances.
